What is custom Fitting? I have worked for over
ten years to develop a fitting method that is un-like any
other stock builder in the country. The day starts with introductions to Tracy
and the staff. From there
we start by checking and evaluating your current stock fit and what changes have
to be made. The morning is spent smelling Bondo and listening to the constant noise of power tools shaping your pattern until we achieve what we think is the perfect fit. Tracy will take you out back and fire a couple of shells to insure that nothing bites or hurts. From this, myself and the customer head to the range to shoot targets for your discipline. This is not a pattern board secession but actual shooting of targets. This is one on one time with Dennis and if needed coaching and different approaches to shooting will be offered. If any pain or uncomfortable felt recoil occurs we stop shooting immediately and head back to the shop to make corrections. This process will continue until both the customer and Dennis are satisfied that the best possible fit has been achieved. Although this may seem like a long and wasted process, it is the only method that I know to obtain the ultimate fit. We have successfully fitted shooters with neck and back pain, shoulder problems and have made many stocks without the need for mechanical recoil devices. So we know the method works. As expensive as shooting is, this process over the long haul is the the best money you can spend. At DeVault Industries you receive innovation and not a copy from someone else's mistakes. DeVault Industries believes that fitting is an important part of what helps make the shooting experience a way of life. Comfort, fit, style, and a personal touch, everything needed to achieve total confidence for your style of shooting. Engineered shooting solutions for today's demanding shooter.
