Pioneering "Engineered Shooting Solutions" for the past 16 years has helped launch Dennis DeVault to the mainstream of custom stock fitting. With extensive personal studies in the effects of recoil and learning to reduce felt recoil without the aid of mechanical recoil devices helped initiate the "Engineered Shooting Solution". The "Engineered Shooting Solution" begins by interpreting your form and determining your offset and comb dimensions. Dennis and his highly trained machinist and master stock maker will proceed by roughing in a true gun stock wood pattern and checking for your specific fit and level of comfort.

Once Dennis has established a working pattern for you, it is time to proceed to the range and shoot targets, While working at the range shooting targets, Dennis will continue to check the fit, ensuring no discomfort or pain and make sure that you are breaking targets properly. Once Dennis is satisfied and you are in high spirits with the fit, function and recoil of the pattern stock you will proceed back to the shop to chose your specific gun blank or check the size of the blank that you have brought. Once the blank is chosen your new custom stock will undergo production. Another option that many shooters request is being able to take the demo home and shoot it for a period of time. That is not a problem and we have done that on many occasion.

The team at DeVault Industries has fit some of the best shooters in the country such as All-American Trap shooters Drew Waller and Harlan Campbell Jr. ; All-American Sporting Clays shooters Bill McGuire and Robbie Purser have all benefited from DeVault's pioneering custom built stocks. DeVault's method is tested and found to be the finest "Engineered Shooting Solution" for continued success and shooting comfort.

The prices include the following:
Labor for stock & forend, 4-way adjustable comb, standard point pattern 20~LPI checkering,

** DeVault Industries strives to work with each customer based on their individual needs. Most stock makers require customers to use wood purchased from the stock maker. DeVault Industries will use wood provided by the customer from an approved supplier. However, to achieve DeVault quality standards for fit and finish, the moisture content of the wood must be between 9 and 12% or it will be rejected. During the cutting process, if any problems arise from wood that is customer provided, DeVault Ind. will not be held responsible. Every effort will be made to help resolve the problem, but the customer will be responsible for additional cost. **

Note: The demo stock is not part of the fitting fee, if a customer wants to keep their demo stock there is an additional charge of $ 500.00 to keep the original pattern . Upon receiving your new stock, you will have 30 days to express any concerns. After the 30 day approval period, the sale will be final and any alterations will be charged an additional fee.
